Room 4 first graders have started the
Ridgeview Read-A-Thon with great enthusiasm! Last week our class had
14/25 kiddos participate in the nightly reading for class points. Mrs. Babcock set
7,000 minutes as our class goal to reach the "
movie and popcorn" reward. Our PTO volunteers have put in hours setting up this project to get as many kids as possible reading in the month of February. In addition, our library gives weekly prizes to kids who turn in slips. Their name is entered in a drawing, we had 6 winners last week! Please continue to support your child by signing the green reading slips and returning them each morning. There is
NO LIMIT on the amount of
MINUTES your child may read! Today, sadly, we are in last place with 1,200 minutes.
