Book Character Serpentine
Ridgeview celebrate the end of our Read-a-Thon with a Book Character Parade. The entire school serpentined through classrooms celebrating reading! It was an amazing day.

Lions Club Visit
Every year our Springfield Lions Club visits first grade classrooms across our district. They share the story of the American flag. In addition, they present a miniature flag to every child. We are grateful for their patriotism and generosity.

Writing Information Stories
Room 4 is writing "All About_______" stories. Information writing is different because we have to choose 5 big ideas or facts, then write some details about the facts. We make a book each time.
After our class books on penguins we made life-size penguins!
