Olson the Octopus!
Today room 4 watched Olson the Octopus on the Hatfield Marine Center, Newport, OR live cam. We got to see Olson feed, and play with toys. The Biologist is teaching him how to hold a sprinkling can and sprinkle water. He can also play with a yellow hose. He is gentle and friendly. The Marine Center only holds octopus for a short time, they return them back to the ocean. Olson is a Giant Pacific Octopus.
Room 4 is writing an information book about the octopus.

Stations!
Today rooms 4, 5, and 6 shared our stations with our neighbors. Please enjoy these photos of first graders visiting room 4 today. We practiced sharing, caring, and kindness.
